Description

Accurate 3d models of iron cans (tin cans, canned food).

- 14 unique models of cans.

- Available formats:

+ 3ds max 2016, Vray materials

+ 3ds max 2012, Vray materials

+ Blender 2.92, with Cycles Render set

+ FBX 2012 version

+ OBJ

- All cans models have UV unwrapped, non overlapping, please refer to presentation images.

- Accurately modeled based on real world cans, measuring tool was used during modeling process.

- All meshes have Mesh Smooth modifier (not collapsed) in 3ds max, and Subdivisions modifier in Blender.

- Meshes consist only of quads, and some triangles when they really needed. No ngons.

- Real world dimensions, system units: centimeters and millimeters(only in 3ds max 2012).

- Number of polys and vertices:

+ scene with all cans: (at 0 subdivisions): 32106 polys, 64110 vertices.

+ can model with least polys: (at 0 subdivisions): ~1000 polys.

+ can model with most polys: (at 0 subdivisions): ~5000 polys.

- All objects/parts are grouped in a main group, ex: Can_oval.

- All objects are appropriately named, English words.

- In 3ds max  Vray materials are applied, all materials are grouped in a Multi/Sub-object mat. 

- Presentation images were rendered with vray 4.10.03.

- In Blender, materials and Cycles Render settings were set to give similar look as in 3ds max & Vray

- In 3ds max versions: 2012 (ward is set in BRDF) and 2016 (microfacet GTR (GGX) is set in BRDF).

- All model are centered around origin.

- In 3ds max scene does not contain any other objects, nor any light set-up, the scene has vray default render setting.

- For FBX and OBJ files, mesh smooth modifier must be added to the imported models.
